Best Service is Service of Kindness
''I was a disadvantaged child from a non-educated family, yet I had the advantage of being in the company of great teachers.'' _APJ Abdul Kalam
Children have great minds, as they do not have a predefined understanding of the world; they see things in their originality without putting them into the structures already created as the most appropriate. They have questions; if their curiosities are not fulfilled at early stages and if they are denied to ask questions, we should be accused of stealing the possibilities of some great ideas or unprecedented actions of virtue.
The former President and one of the most inspirational personalities of India, Mr. Kalam, always believed that the future of any nation is decided by the constant efforts taken by the people to empower the youth and educate the underprivileged. One of the biggest enemies of the growth of our nation is poverty; one solution to come out of it is education and skill development.
Globally, India is considered a developing nation, and the future depends on the paths we follow today, the goals that we set, and the hard work that we do together to achieve those goals. Education plays a key role in changing lives and, in turn, the futures of countries. If we want to contribute for the welfare of our nation and create a better environment for the overall development of our offspring, first we need to focus on education and learning.
As has been said, 'High winds blow on high hills', the conviction for a 'Dream Nation' comes up with the sense of unity, as the leaders have said that if together we aspire for the betterment, we can definitely achieve all our goals. In his book 'Ignited Minds,' Mr. Kalam writes that ''Nation consists of people. And with their effort, a nation can accomplish all it could ever want.''
As we all know that non-profit organizations play a crucial role in the path of sustainable and inclusive development, the work done by them needs to be recognized so that more people come up for a good cause. Pehchaan The Street School is also one of the organizations that is striving for the welfare of underprivileged children.
Pehchhan was started in 2015 by Mr. Aakash Tandon and his friends, and today it is educating 1500+ children and helping them to create a better future for themselves. Along with elementary education, Pehchaan also focuses on the enhancement of skills among the students so they don't lag behind in the journey of reaching their aspirations. To know more about Pehchaan, visit https://pehchaanstreetschool.org/ and always remember that the BEST SERVICE IS SERVICE OF KINDNESS.
