LGBTQI+

This term broadly refers to different sexualities, romantic orientations, and gender identities.

Who defines which person has to be respected in society and which one deserves to be discarded from it? Definitely, no one has any right to harm the dignity of the other person. We created societies to interact with each other and share cultural, linguistic, and religious relations; the very purpose is to build an environment that makes us feel more aware and involved. But, with time, we become slaves to certain patterns and now try to fit each person into those systems created on the basis of some vague ideas of living a collaborative and respectful life.

Societies resist to accept people not fitting in their already set patterns, and in turn continuously make them feel as outsiders or not belonging to a community that has been created by some people years ago. We say that now the time has changed and people have started becoming more sensible towards the LGBTQ community; it might be true to a certain extent, but the question is why even there is a requirement of validations.

Some emotions exist beyond our understanding of the course of nature, such as love and affection; these feelings are not controllable and are not planned so that the already set patterns can be followed. No person should be anyway bound to give explanations about his or her sexual identity. The beauty of humanity resides in accepting each other without any prejudices. As humans, we should learn to liberate our minds from constraining belief systems.

Stop questioning, start supporting.
